Dell Launches Alienware Aurora in Australia & New Zealand

High-performance gaming systems company Alienware, has announced the Alienware Aurora has been reinvigorated with the latest performance processors and graphics to help provide the ultimate gaming experience.

The Aurora is now available featuring the latest Intel Core i7 processors including an Extreme Edition option, processors with as many as 6 cores and 15MB of cache, and overclock speeds of up to 4.3GHz, with Turbo Boost technology. Alongside the announcement, Aurora is also available with the latest NVIDIA GeForce 700-series graphics and AMD 8900-series graphics options. These options provide great experiences for multi-display, 3D and resolution beyond 1080p.

In preparation for future upgrades, it will support quad-channel DDR3 memory, with owners able to increase the speed and capacity by adding additional drives or solid state drives throughout the 4 internal drive bays.

As an available option, an ALX chassis features intelligent thermal management system that monitors important locations within itself, optimizing the heat being dissipated through the system. The ALX chassis also features a premium CPU liquid cooling enabling overclocking and lower operating temperatures, including other features such as internal theater lighting and a tool-less, cable-free hard drive caddies allowing each upgrades.

The Alienware Aurora is available on Dell’s website in Australia and New Zealand, with a starting price of $2,699AU.
