Nintendo releases a new batch of content for their electronic shop.
This week Nintendo reveals you may watch their E3 edition of Nintendo Direct on the eShop. Aside from the Nintendo Direct broadcast, it will also feature game trailers and interviews.
New to Nintendo’s eShop is Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the 3DS. This marks the fourth entry to the series as well as the first Animal Crossing game to be on the 3DS. It will be made available at midnight PT June 9 on the 3DS’ eShop.
New Leaf has players assuming the role of the town’s mayor where you can control how your town grows based on your decisions. There are also plenty more customization options, sharing options to view your friend’s towns and events only appearing during certain times of the year.
Additionally, there is a 3DS XL bundle with a pre-installed copy of New Leaf featuring a white color design and emblems tattooed on the system resembling objects from the game. This bundle will set your wallet back $219.99.
New to the Wii U’s Virtual Console is the original Yoshi title originally debuting on the NES. It will be made available June 12.
Also appearing in the Wii U’s Virtual Console is Spelunker while Sangoku 3 is making its way to Wii’s Virtual Console
One of the Wii U’s downloadable launch titles, Trine 2: Director’s Cut, is being discounted to $9.99 until 9:00 a.m. PT on June 27.
Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth is also seeing a permanent price cut to $29.99 on the Wii U’s eShop.
