JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #21 REVIEW

Justice League Dark #21

Written by: Jeff Lemire and Ray Fawkes

The conclusion to . If there is one this you can expect from this story, let alone from this story arc it was chaos, and it sure knows how to find its way to this team. It’s one I can’t help but recommend to those out there who enjoy mystery and a dynamic team book. One of the best that I think DC has to offer right now. This issue proves that and their connection to the rest of the world as well though still a mystery.

All mysteries and secrets find their way to the surface and Xanadu is no exception to this. If you every wondered how important, let alone how strong she is as an individual, this issue had shown this. It was very balanced between the fighting and diving into her past which is greater than I expected. Overall the action in this issue was exciting, more than I can say for any other storyline that came before. The duo of Jeff Lemire and Ray Fawkes know these characters and how to use them as opposed to before when there were too many to really care for them all. The best thing about this conclusion is that it still leaves room for more to come, for the story to grow because this team is known by now for having just about anything spring up on them and at any time.

This story arc, with its conclusion has shown just why they are the mystic Justice League. Flash’s appearance in this story really sold how they work as a team because like he said they work together so well that you actually feel as though you are a part of a team. That’s something that really stands out and you hope that with the next stories leading into the Trinity Wars will show this again. As usual the art style has been the most spectacular part of this book. Many vibrant colors, solid, detailed and just about everything really pops out. The effects look real and the fights look that much more appealing to the eyes.
