A new rumor surfaces over Respawn Entertainment’s next game being exclusive to Microsoft’s consoles.
A report from Kotaku states the game will be available exclusively for the “Xbox 720″ and Xbox 360.
The game is supposedly “designed for multiplayer” with the “Xbox 720′s” always-online concept in mind. Whether or not the game can be played offline is unclear, but the sources, “did not think that the game would have a standalone linear campaign.”
The multiplayer consists of two factions with 16 player online matches and the ability to controls mechs called Titans. The Titans apparently, “move with an agility not seen in games like Mechwarrior or Steel Battalions. With that said, this may confirm a discovery made by IGN stating the game’s title could be “Titan.”
It is also reported the 360 version of the game is being developed by a different studio with the game using, “a modified version of Valve’s Source engine.”
I suppose we will find out at either E3 or Microsoft’s event on May 21 what the game is and if it is indeed exclusive to Microsoft’s machines.
