This week in Nintendo’s eShops, the 3DS receives Hulu Plus while the Wii U gets Deux Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut, and more.
While it has been available for the Wii U since its launch window, Hulu Plus has now become available for all 3DS owners. Hulu Plus allows you to stream a wide variety of television shows and movies from current to classic. To use Hulu Plus for the 3DS, you must subscribe to the service for $7.99 each month.
In other updates, the Wii U is receiving a few new titles for download.
The first of these new games is Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut. This director’s cut of the game is the definitive version of the original Deus Ex: Human Revolution from 2011. New features for the game include upgraded graphics, improved AI for enemies and bosses, and new functionalities for the GamePad. The next game is Just Dance Kids 2014, the latest release to the high-selling dance franchise. This kid-friendly iteration of the Just Dance franchise features over 30 songs for children from popular music to television shows and more.
Lastly, the sequel to Might Switch Force! – Mighty Switch Force! 2 – is now available to download on the Wii U.
On the sales front, and as we reported earlier, Nintendo has discounted 3DS platformer title SteamWorld Dig by 20 percent. The sale will last from now through Oct. 20. If you’re not sure whether or not to take advantage of this limited-time discount, check out our review on SteamWorld Dig.
