TurtleRock Studios, the development studio behind the upcoming online multiplayer game Evolve, has announced a 3GB day one update for the game.
Evolve will officially launch tomorrow (February 10) for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, though those wanting to to experience the online gameplay will have to wait for the 3GB day-one update to complete.
What does this large update contain? A number of balancing tweaks that were gathered from the data found throughout the Big Alpha (impressions here) and the Xbox One Open Beta weekend, optimisations to a number of areas such as loading times, improvements to matchmaking and network bandwidth. Alongside a number of bug fixes from the aforementioned data, reworked skins for Hunters and Monsters based on community feedback and connectivity to the Evolve Hunters Quest Match-3 puzzle game for mobile devices.
Analog Addiction will have a full review of Evolve at a later date, after we have substantially tested the online capabilities of the multiplayer component.
