After the official announcement of the newest Ratchet and Clank (which happened about two weeks ago), Insomniac Games has now revealed new details regarding Into the Nexus.
For once, the game will not feature any kind of multiplayer, be it competitive or cooperative. It’ll, of course, feature trophies, and a challenge mode will also be introduced. Further more, Into the Nexus’ length is said to be somewhere between A Crack in Time and Quest for Booty. Additionally, one of the stories featured will tie into Ratchet’s personal life. The game has been in development for over a year now.
Insomniac Games also touched on why the game isn’t a full retail sequel:
We set out to make the biggest and best single-player Ratchet and Clank game we could with the time and resources we were allowed, and then we wanted to price it competitively
Ratchet And Clank: Into The Nexus is scheduled for release this holiday, exclusively on the PlayStation 3.
